How many shaves till you switch to a new blade?

I have an electric braun activator and went 2 years before changing. $150 for 2 years of shaving is cheaper than buying mach 3 blades.
 
I use gillette's 5 blade system. I believe I got about 80 shaves last year. I do use an electric a lot of the time, but when I use the blade one I go, at the very least, many dozens of shaves. A new blade is always nice but if anything I'm more inclined to cut myself with it because it feels so fresh. And my facial hair does grow in like a normal person's. I'm inclined to think some people waste an awful lot on blades. They still cut fine if they're not as sharp as new.
 
I hate to admit it but I have a Gillette sensor 2 that I've had since 96'.........



.....I'm finally getting to the last razor in the refill cartridge that it came with.
