I should be happy because in case i'm right 5 or 6 will start in september: BigB, RealWorld, Fear Factor, Barchelor, Survivor and who knows what else. But i'm not happy. I find most of 'em dull and simply uninteresting. How about you?

I'm in the US and would estimate that this year probably no less than 20 reality shows will be on TV. They're all over the place and, though I loved the Mole and survivor one, I detest all of these equally. What a thoroughly boring passtime they've become. Back to fiction or discovery channel for me.

I see I am not alone. South American series and reality shows are 90% of terrestrial TV here.

I would guess around 5 - 10 in Sweden. Depends on if you count the foreign ones and those that have been cancelled without me giving a fvck ;)

*edit* From my memory, I count 11: Expedition Robinson, The Bachelor (American), Bachelor (Swedish), Survivor UK (not sure - it's a bunch of whiny British kids on an island though), Popstars Sweden, Popstars Ireland, Popstars Canada (WTF is so good about Popstars anyway?), Farmen, Big Brother, Masterplan, Fame Factory.

Care to tell us what country you reside, Vaerilis? I'm not certain that your profile is applicable at the moment. Is it Germany? You seem to like German.

I'm at the USA and we have Real World (one of the few I like to watch), Road Rules (same thing), Fear Factor, Bachelor, Survivor, Big Brother (one of my favourites), For Love or Money, Meet My Folks, The Family, Amazing Race, American Idol, Trading Spaces, The Mole, Cupid, Dance Fever, The Osbournes, Starting Over, Surf Girls, Temptation Island, Making the Band, Fame, Last Comic Standing, Paradise Hotel, America's Next Top Model, Race to The Altar, American Junior, Boy Meets Boy (Bravo), Project Greenlight, Queer Eye For A Straight Guy, Lost, Joe Millionaire, 'Beg, Borrow, and Deal' (ESPN), 'Boarding House: North Shore' (WB), Who Will Marry My Dad, and Nashville Star (USA). Then there's one that Fox does where they have people with secret crush or engaged to be married get instantly married on stage or rejected. I forget the title, since I've only seen the show once. Okay, I got it. It's called 'Anything For Love' (Fox).

Did I skip any? What happened to that show that Fox started that was hosted by Monica Lewinsky? It was supposed to be Americans choosing spouses for the contestants. I forget the name of the show. It contained "marriage" or "married". Uhmmm. . . . :p I ony watch about three shows in full. The rest I just watch a few of the series and then the finale, or I don't watch them at all.

I live in Hungary. That's in my profile, too. I'm Hungarian. Possibly the only one on ATOT.

Why do you speak German a lot and seem to like German? Is German your primary language? Or are you a German who resides at Hungary?

No, I am 100% Hungarian. The problem is, only a handful of the AT community would understand my language.

Okay, one last question: So why German? You know not 100% AT members would understand German, but 100% would understand English. :p I'm just curious to know why the German.

Mainly because the German threads several weeks ago. Some said the forums should stay purely English. I didn't agree.
Some threads got locked only because they were German.

My primary language is Hungarian, but I fear only I can understand it around here.

Edit: Bachelor, sometimes I don't keep an eye on what I type

Add 'Performing As' to that list.
