I will report back in a little while. Give it your best shot, and no cheating. I will be watching you.

I just did 115 yesterday in a contest with a friend.

Guess the years of surfing finally paid off. LoL

Seriously, not bad for a 30-something guy with a heck of a beerbelly, eh?

Keep in mind that you gotta do full pushups. Your elbow must move to a 90 degree angle 😛

btw, i can do 42... up from 22 2 months ago. (some training does help 😛)

I think theres a tendon slipping in my elbow making an uncomfortable poping/slipping motion.. which later translates to pain.. therefor keeping my pushups to a minimum.. I can do about 20.. but my elbow gets too sore to continue, my muscles however could do more im sure.

I could do about 20 a month ago, but since then I've worked up to about 40. I want to be able to pass the AFPT by August.

what branch you joining? is that the airforce? you already sign?

i just got my promotion to e2 from e1 before i leave for the army by doing my pt test among other things. 😛

I have a month left to add 20 or 30 to my total. Currently I can do about 50 in 2 minutes. Plus I'll be 25 in time for my final AF PFT so thats like 10 free points

Army ROTC in college. Plus my Police Explorer post takes trips to Army bases occasionally for a week or so and we always take the test

I get 27.

Cant do much more than that with out pain in my shoulder. Guess thats what happens when you seperated your shoulder 4 years ago.

100 even, then arms start shaking, don't try to do anymore. Might be mental thing (i.e. you set a number as a goal and get super tired at the last 10 before the goal, and can't go any further??) lol
