How many pullups can you do?

We are talking arms fully extended hanging, pullup chin above bar, down, repeat. Wiggly, kicking, flailing does not count.

I can muster 15 regularly.

Edit: New rule, post your results before reading response to avoid the temptation of inflating.

15 fresh, real complete reps, which are not the kind most people here will mention, I suspect 🙂 180 lbs! I can do five with a 50lb dumbell hanging from my legs 🙂

I can do 10, but I struggle on the last 2. Wide-grip pullups are easier for me since that's what I started with.

We are talking about palms facing away grip, right?

only 10 clean ...at 11 i am all wiggly and kicking. pretty sad since i'm only ~140

edit: 20 or 30? damn i've got some working out to do. my biceps are pretty much the weakest link.

Right now probably 4 or so. At 215 right now I'm about 20 pounds over normal and I haven't lifted regularly in a long long time. Pretty sad.

I usually get anywhere from 11-13 out of my first set. I do 4 sets, 2 widegrip and 2 close grip.

The following sets usually don't get above 10 😛 😕

I do suck at the pull-ups. Maybe 4-6 in strict form.

I have been working at improving, but it takes a long time to build up. Especially since the only time we do them is on back night at the gym, and I am pretty tired when we get to them. Maybe we should move them up in the rotation.
