In your benching mode, what are the 7 processes you leave running? I'm curious because I have 38 processes running which seems a tad excessive, but I'm not sure which ones are necessary (do have several like weatherbug, Xfire, that are incredibly important, but many others of which I know nothing about).

This is a great topic, videobruce!

Thanks for all that posted, but I would of been nicer if the option of a poll would of worked!
Anyone have done a poll in this forum?

Upthe Middle..... next time I boot into the benching profile I'll check them and post them here. You should go to "blackviper.com" and do some reading. He has a services configuration guide that will tell you what they all are and if they are necessary. With only 7 processes running you lose a lot of functionality that you need for everyday use, they are just the bare minumum to run benches.

Thanks for the website and heads up, Boshuter! And it'll also be interesting to see what the bare minimum is.

Videobruce, I can't help ya with the poll question as I've never done one here, either.
