100 FTW. I used the default until about 2009, then I switched. SO much better.

25. I can keep track of things better. Most threads aren't worth a shit after 3 25 post pages, and I don't usually need to see any threads past the first page(of 25).

I'm been experimenting with 'newest posts first' instead of 'newest posts last' option. I'm finding I like it, I like it a lot.

Imagine it would be a hecka lot niftier with the old AT traffic though.

Oh and yeah, been on the 100 club since one month in 2003 or something. :p

I was rocking 100, but then the pony thread happened.
With all those animated gifs and large pics, I had to drop it to 50.

whatever the max is. love when some weenie cries that he couldn't remember something 10 pages back and I say the thread is still only 1 page long.

20 but I use tapatalk so it has a setting separate from the forum itself.

Default, cause I'm not so lazy I can't click next page once in a while, yet I'm too lazy to change it to a higher PPP number.

Maximum. Some forums limit the maximum because the more pages presentd, the more ads delivered in a pay-per-ad setting. It's so annoying.

for the amount of threads is see in a section, it's 50.
but thanks to an extension to opera, it just brings the next page and make it part of the current one. this work for google search results, youtube search results and many other forums.

don't know how i lived without this extension.

Most recent at the top isn't unusual, is it? Or, do you mean most recently created, instead of most recently replied to?
isnt most recent on top the default?

That's what I thought. Unless he's referring to most recently created being closer to the top than something most recently replied to. If that even is a setting.

Most recent at the top is the default setting for threads, but not for individual posts.

If I did most recent at the top for posts, I believe I would cease to understand the context for most of the longer threads.
