How many poo particles can your body take before it gets sick?

Sometimes your body can handle certain amounts of bad things before your body is overwhelmed.

Just how sturdy are our immune systems? I mean how much dirt could someone eat for example? Or undercooked food?

Food for thought.

However much it is, I'm sure it's exactly the same for everybody.

well size and weight seem to matter for things like alcohol. Everyones immunity is different too, so i suspect it could vary wildly.

All i know is i ate about 10 chicken nuggets one time that weren't cooked properly and got mild food poisoning. But since bacteria amount would vary too, would be difficult to say. Dirt however has a lot of good bacteria that eats the bad as well, dirt usually isn't that toxic by nature, but naturally most things have an overdose line some of which would make you puke first before it causes damage.

Probably depends on how fit your immune system is. A guy that works with septic systems as a living can probably tolerate much more than a germaphobe. Of course, feces can give you e coli and other nasties, so even septic workers probably take good caution with their exposure but they probably still get more exposure than the average person.

Quite a lot, judging by the amount Conservatives spit out of their mouths lately.

Impossible to say. Depends on the poop you are eating. What if the first particle has a really nasty infectious microbe or parasite?

Bulk poo?

Like alternator-sized?

But seriously, I think it just depends. There's a restaurant near work that practically half of my co-workers go to every day because of convenience. After a few instances of getting sick shortly after I started working at my current job, I realized that the restaurant in question was what was causing it. Apparently whatever bacteria they have swimming on their food doesn't cause much or any harm to my co-workers, but it sure makes me want to die.

I remember this Chinese restaurant we used to go to. Every time I went, I felt sick later like clockwork. But everyone else was always fine and they all loved that place.

A lot for some people.. several hundred times of what is determined safe actually... well if you bathe in raw sewage so your immune system is armed with grenade launchers and machine guns.

I have seen this video online, it's about two girls and a cup.

We were never told if they survived.
