How many pics can i hold onthis 1gb sd card

recently got a 7.2 mp sammy digital camera, how many pics or "exposuresif thats the word) can i expect to fit on this memory card?

Are you going to use full res (in your case, are you going to shoot at 7.2MP)? Are you going to use "Fine" or "Standard" mode? Those two things have to be taken into consideration.

3megs to 4.x megs will do you about this many, probably a few more.

on a 512meg stick I can hit over 150 images @ 3megs a file.

I can upgrade mines to 4 gigs for only a hundred bucks at Dell.com, memory stick pro type.

if you're picture savvy, you want very very good resolutions on recharbale 2500 mAh batteries and at least 2 gigs of space. carry another few gigs if you are extreme.

funny to see that retailers are selling mostly quick cams and digital cams instead of the usual cams that carry disposable film cartridges, but reality is catching up...
