How many people out there type the way you're "supposed" to? I used to hunt and peck, but got really good at it, and now correct my mistakes and type with 2 fingers without looking at the keyboard at all. what about you guys?

Not exactly the way I'm "supposed to" (I hit the spacebar with index finger, and don't use pinkies very much -- my hands move about a bit more than they probably "should) but I type pretty damn fast.

I working on that, but for the time being, I chose "I'm an adept hunt and pecker just like you!" 😱

I learned to type on a manual typewriter back in the stone ages and it has stuck with me. Yup, I type with all my fingers while looking elsewhere.

I type almost the way I'm supposed to. I don't use the proper fingers for non-letter keys. I use the number pad for numbers and middle or index fingers for ", '. >/ \ = - etc

The backspace key has ruined my typing. I guess I'm faster now, but less accurate because it doesn't matter if you make a mistake.

I don't know how I learned how to type. I think it was the internet and AOL IM where the bulk of fast tying and poor grammer and spelling.

I'm a two and three finger typist. I tried and tried and tried to learn the conventional way, but it just never stuck.

If anyone wants to learn how to touch type, you gotta try "The Typing of the Dead". It's a shooter with typing instead of guns. It was even an arcade game very briefly.

type or die

I am more of a pecker with parts of homemade type style.
Never learned to 'type correctly' and still need to see the keyboard otherwiase nodfhjdnxcjue hdidksa hhsd read what I am typing.
