Actually the only time i "lie" is for a joke and I never let it carry on. Lying on the internet (or anywhere) is supra-pathetic (yes that's 'supra'). I never embellish either! At least not that I'm aware of.

I really don't at all. It's just not worth it, seriously making some stupid lie up to try to get the approval of a bunch of people online is just pathetic.

As for others, i'm sure there are many many people who are full of total crap online, I believe little of what I read that isn't obviously truth on a bbs. I've said it before but online you will find more womanizer/millionare/navy seal/martial arts master/genius types all rolled into one when they are really 13 year olds that no one wants to talk to in real life so they think if they make all this crap up they will have acceptance at least somewhere.
