Vonage, and the quality is still superb. I heard that the newest version of MSN uses some form of VoIP for their audio conversations.

I use vonage as well, however, I often have difficulties with the connection, when I am calling a cell phone, the voicemail doesn't start until middle or near the end of the greeting...does anyone else have this issue?

i wanted to switch to VOIP but we have no other internet provider in our area save for the one that needs Ma Bell's land lines (DSL). no cable in our subdivision as of yet anyway.

FWIW - I know people who have stripped down their normal lines to a metered rate, maintained DSL and signed up for SR. It is doable.

I'm with SR...just got off the phone after 11 minutes with an XM billing issue...haven't had any problems with SR in some time now, I"m quite pleased.
