I will some time though. All the regulars that I know at the Lakers usenet newsgroup, have get togethers at playoff time every year. I haven't been able to go because I haven't had the money to fly to LA for the day, but I'm going to next year.

I've played MUDs, and I've met about 30 Swedish mudders, 40-50 Dutch mudders, 5-10 US mudders, one or two from Canada, a few from the UK and 1 from Australia.
Think that's about it.

Plenty from being in Quake 2 clans, LANning, from ICQ/friends' contacts. I'd say at least 50 that I first met and talked to on ICQ, or over e-mail exclusively, then met in real life.
