How many people have troubles concentrating or paying attention to stuff?

I was writing a final exam yesterday, and I couldn't focus on it, I would look at the questions then get totally distracted by something. I have been having problems focusing/concentrating on school stuff and other stuff lately, anyone else have this problem?

Definetely. I always tell myself to study.. but my mind wanders and I do something else. Not that it affects my marks - I get straight A's in school, but sometimes I think I have ADD (which I definetely do not...)

Yes, it is horrible. I can't seem to concentrate utill I absolutely have to (i.e. last minute). But then I can get down and do good work. This means a lot of all nighters though.

I'm not going to say it even though it'd go so well in the thread...

But yes, I have trouble concentrating sometimes, mostly because the dog here always wants to play. So I have to go somewhere else to get my studying done.

I always get distracted. Finally, now that I am in college, my parents told me the tested me for ADD when I was younger, and I had it, but they decided not to tell me, and treat me as "normal"

Now so much makes sense. I guess it worked since I am graduating and got into grad school for my PhD... but I still have to work very hard to keep myself focused on a task. And i have just learned I need to take alot of breaks when studying etc.
