How many people feel happy when an ex gets engaged?

My ex from two years ago recently sent an e-mail to a list of people saying she got engaged. I was one of the people on the list (though other ex's were curiously absent).

Since this is the dude she cheated on me with, I guess I should be happy their relationship ended up somewhere, but i'm not exactly overjoyed to hear it.

It would be so much easier if I could hate her. BTW, I'm 23, everyone around me is getting engaged.

Time to crash the wedding....get your absolute HOTTEST friend/gf to go with you. Be all over each other the whole time, annouce your engagement during the toasts.

Then, sit back and enjoy! :D

I recently found out my ex-wife has a new bf, but I'm nearly 100% positive it's somone online that she's never met. I don't really care. I wish she knew that I had a young, hot, thin gf, because that would piss her off! haha

Yes, that immaturity will make her regret dumping him!! Good thinking!

Let them. Half will get divorced anyways. I should know, I'm part of the half that got divorced after getting married at 23!

Heh...

My ex dumped me for a guy, last Feb, that she'd never met.

She told me 3 weeks later, that she was engaged to him.

Then, in July, they met for the first time!

I was just LOL at her!

Erm, I second codeyf! ;)

Funny you should mention that, she has cheated on him before. Every serious boyfriend she's ever had since she was 16 at least, she cheats on. That's a part of the suprise, I didn't know they were still together at all. There might be a story behind it all, I just doubt I'd want to hear it.

The point is not to make her regret dumping him, which technically, she didn't do. She cheated on him, which tells me she was still with him at the time. The above technique is more of a "Right back at ya, b1tch" and not a "See what you're missing? b1tch".

Make sense?

I thankfully won't have to meet any of my ex's boyfriends until she gets married to one because she lives on the other side of the country.

Yah, that'll get her! She's enough in love with a guy to marry him, but oh man... seeing her ex make a COMPLETE AND TOTAL FOOL of himself will surely prove a point! Indeed, it'll prove that he has the maturity that equals a 10 year old guy who is upset that he didn't get a valentine.

My first girlfriend is now married, which is great! (no sarcasm)! She was a great girl, and I'm glad she's found someone she's happy with. (I broke up with her, by the way)

And my most recent girlfriend (who broke up with me) is now actually living with her current boyfriend. And that's fine too! What's weird is that I thought I was actually going to get married to this chick, and I was really sad when she dumped me, but now I just fine ;).

I don't know what other ex-gfs are doing these days.

I could only be happy. The fact that they are an EX means that something about the two of us is incompatible. In addition, everyone has the right to and should be with the one who makes them feel most complete. This may well indeed be good riddance.

I have an ex-wife. She got remarried, and it was for the better. Her new husband moderated her petty, bitter behavior. We get along okay. Still don't like her though.
