How many people are going to be confused when buying a new video card

I think we are all wondering why NV and ATI are pushing PCI-e initially, since there aren't many boards out there (especially AMD) which can properly support a PCI-e card.

But I'm wondering, when the new 6600GT and X700 cards come to places like Best Buy, Fry's, etc, how many people are going to buy these things and become very frustrated when they don't fit in their computer. Should be a lot of open box specials coming. 🙂
 
Interesting, people are already freaking out because they don't have a clue which card to pick, now this just throws twice as many options into the mix for the confused consumer even when PCI Express doesn't really have any performance value over agp yet
