I am considering buying used one but comparing marine maintaince costs

buy a rowboat. Then you jsut have to scrape barnacles every few years.

I still own a boat.
Insurance is $119 per year. Maintenance is virtually nothing if you are willing to do it yourself. Oh, except for that prop that I banged up last year.

Well I got my boat for free. It was just a small rowboat but I fixed it up real nice and am going to put a motor on it

fixed. 😛

sorry, bored at work.

I own a Yamaha WaveBlaster. Technically you could call that a boat, but it's more like a dirtbike for the water.

I own a small aluminum boat with an electric trolling motor. It's so small I don't even need a trailer, i just slide it in the bed of my nissan.

2 boats:

seadoo speedster - for tubing and crusing around

22 foot pontoon boat - the party barge

It is like a money pit, but on a nice day on the lake you forget all about it😎
