woot my first day back today... was kinda getting bored reading all ATOT.... not saying that it was bad or boring... but now i got something real to do

Starts today for me too although I've been here a week for resnet stuff. It's distracting when working on students computers and both of the girls have the short little skirts on that are popular right now along with nice tank tops which were showing off some really nice goods!

First class was today. Well, first class that I'm teaching and have 100% control of that is. I am not comfortable in front of a group of people, so hopefully this will help get me better at it.

I need to learn to stop rushing and to plan for times when I run out of materal. Today I meant to let students off 10 minutes early (50 min class) but I let them out 20 mintues early since I had nothing else to say.

I bet they were happy. Class was from 11:30 - 12:20 and I let them out right at noon - plenty of time to eat a bit of lunch before another class if they wanted to.

I hate it when professors dive right into complex equations on the first day of class. So I wanted to avoid all of that and not write a single equation on the board (it is an engineering computations course). I guess I just can't talk for 50 straight minutes without graphs and equations.
