A quote from online AP news off my.yahoo.com:
A month ago, before the war in Iraq, the agency predicted gas prices would average more than $1.70 a gallon through the summer, hitting 1.76 this month.
Instead, gasoline prices have dropped about 10 cents a gallon over the past three weeks from a high of $1.73 a gallon in early March. The national average was $1.63 a gallon on Monday, according to the EIA.
What was your local highest for regular unleaded (at the discount place you usually patronize) and what is your current high?
I just paid $1.96/gal for here in Phoenix for unleaded.

Gas prices have gone down since the war up started up here. It's sitting at about $0.70 a litre (from $0.80)... not too sure how much that is in USD/gallon.

I'm paying 1.39 now for regular unleaded. The highest I've paid since the war started was 1.59.
