i was sound asleep in bed,my car was stone cold. My Mother told the cops,hes been asleep since about 9PM,its the first night he had off in 3 months.

The district manager calls me like 2 weeks later,uh i am sorry,we found out it was a store manager,stealing the money orders to make his car payment.You can come back to work starting tommorow.
I said,oh?I don't think so!

I woulda demanded compensation or something. That's ridiculous.

These people are total idiots. Most companies have a policy of not giving out any information at all about a person's quality of work. Read somewhere it is because of lawsuits claiming "Denial of Persuit of a better living".

Fired from Block Buster...well asked to leave and if not would be fired. They said I stole something, but the shift before I told the main boss to go fvck himself b/c they wanted me to put my hands in a toilet to get something out. I never did, but that was my last day. I was ready to quit that place anyways so i didn't really care. I never had any problems getting a job.

Once.

I got fired from a convienience store that I worked at early on in high school. The manager said it was for my own good because I was too lazy and not cut out for retail.

Turns out she ended up getting busted embezzling money from the store and I got too close to finding out her little scheme. Corporate ended up offering me my job back, but I had another job by that time. (in retail, where I was employee of the month at a department store 😛)

never been fired...in fact every time I quit a job, they beg me to stay. I think I am a good employee...even if I do have problems with authority.

No, but I have walked off the job (quit on the spot) at a fast-food place.

The place was breaking major labor laws, and the entire management staff at the store was fired by district management less than a month after I quit.

Once. My very first job at a photo lab. At the height of the summer too, where there were several bins of films waiting to be developed. I got the boot because she said I was too slow for the job. Hell yeah, there should be two to three persons per shift. And me working with her along, I was basically a one man band as she took her friggin hour long lunches and spent time off talking to her buddies that came to visit.

But the pics I got to see working at that place was pretty interesting to say the least 😉 heh

Never been fired since. Each job I've had over the other is better in both pay and benefits.

I got fired from a line cook position when I was 17... just couldnt keep up with the orders. I was a wiz a McD's register and window though, my boss always told me I was the only emp worth 4.75 an hour.🙂

I was fired for "only" willing to work 6 days/60 hours a week. I couldn't believe they fired me for working more than a regular full time job.

I've quit and walked out on a job but never fired. My dad, however, got fired from being a cook helper. He accidentally emptied hot oil in the garbage can. My dad tried to blame it on someone else it was so hilarious.

I've never been fired...been let go a couple times. The last time I had a dream about being let go the morning before I went in to work. When I got there I was told the boss wanted to talk to me, and then I was told I was being let go. That was freaky.
