How many of you guys use a Vortex 2 sound card with XP?

I have an MX300 and would like to know if you have to do anything to get it to run in XP? For Win2k you had to edit the registry IIRC.

For people not having problems, what drivers you all running, xp default?
Also, is A3d working? In games?
 
There are drivers provided with WinXP for this sound card - I am using them with no problems. I'm not sure what kind of 3D audio support it provides, but I know for sure that the digital output works with these drivers. However, if you get the updated drivers from Windows Update, digital audio out will NOT work (this can be verified with some other people on the forums at vortexofsound.com, in addition to myself).

I currently have the digital out hooked up to my MiniDisc recorder, and for some reason my PC is not inserting track marks between CD tracks or between different MP3 files played through Winamp. I have my CD/DVD drives set up to play the audio digitally, so I assumed that it would work. Does anyone know if this is a problem with the sound card/drivers, or do I have to do something special to my PC to make it insert track marks in the right spots?
 
I have the even more dreaded SB Live!/Windows 2000 combination. Ahhh! I used to have it paired with a 686B southbridge based motherboard. Double Ahhh!
 
I'm using a Vortex2 Superquad in XP and most of its functions work. The only thing that doesn't work as far as I can tell is A3D. There are updated Aureal drivers on Windows Update if that might help.
 
Vortex2 with XP here...and the VIA chipset. Works fine with all latest VIA drivers and stuff. I haven't downloaded the newer Vortex ones from the XP update site though.
 
I've got a SQ2500 and under certian games and in winamp 3 my sound is poppy as hell. I got the latest XP drivers. I tried the wpcredit fix I found somewhere and it didn't work. Anyone else have this problem?

My MX300 didn't work right with the latest drivers. But it works perfectly with the drivers that came with XP.
