How many of you guys are on a diet?

Well, not techinically an official 'diet' per se, I am just eating less than I used to and healthier foods overall, along with working out.

I do not obsess about what I am eating, I just buy healthier stuff, if that makes sense at all.

Though last night I had pizza and beer...GO OILERS!!

That's pretty much what I'm doing. I just want to lose a few pounds and get back in shape.

i didn't eat lunch throughout the entire school year, so i guess that was my diet. except I pigged out when I got home, but anyway...

Yes, of sorts. I have incredibly high cholesterol (435), so I limit my intake as much as possible. Plus the medication I'm on (Zetia) does horrible things to me if I drink milk or high fat stuff.

I eat the same thing every morning and night.

Breakfast:
Protein Shake
Egg Whites w/cheese
Oatmeal

Dinner:
Chicken Breast
Vegatables
Baked Beans
Rice Protein Shake

Lunch varies by day, but it must be low-fat, high protein

 😛

You're correct about what a diet is, but to be "on a diet" or to be "dieting" has different meaning.

Not a diet so much because I don't really plan what I eat in advance, but I do excercise portion control and try to stay away from unhealthy food (fast food, soft drinks, candy, etc.) whenever possible.

I'm also on a bulking diet of about 4-5000 calories a day. Currently ~6'2" ~200lbs at about 15% body fat. Hoping to pack on 10 more pounds of muscle and drop the 5 or so pounds from bulking.

I set my caloric total for the day depending on what my current goals are (gaining mucle or losing fat) and then select from a small pool of foods to reach that total. I'm gradually reducing cals now though, so my food selection will become pretty limited. I'll probably be eating the exact same thing every weekday, and then maybe relax a bit on the weekend.
