I think it may depend on what your major is. But if you can take and pass the same classes in 3 years that may take somebody else 6, is there a quality difference?

Senior seminar and thesis for one major and undergrad research for the other, yeah. But neither were very intensive, from my point of view, so I think some majors have it worse.
