Holy hell that's that game my parents were pissed at me for playing when I was 7 :D Was fun while it lasted though.

Ikari Warriors was my game for a while back in the day. But I remember Asteroids and Zaxxon from the arcade. A friend of mine had the board game.

I played the arcade version of the sequel to Rastan, Nastar Warriors (also known as Rastan Saga 2). The characters were bigger, and it was not quite as good.

I have never played that game, but I was never into arcades as a youngster. The only time I played the arcade game was when I went to the dentist, and that was only because the games were free. I would play Centipede the whole time I waited. :)

This brings me back to my Amiga days. Best, most enjoyable gaming days.

Oh how I reminisce.

RYGAR FTMFW!!!!! :)

I used to play that at my college arcade all the time.

I hear they are making a version for the Wii.

I also remember watching 4 guys play Gauntlet for hours on end everyday using only 1 quarter each......... usually lasting 2-3 hours. That was insane........ everyday for 2 terms.

This be joke? ;) There are in fact fewer and fewer arcade games in existence (excluding all newer games) that mames doesn't emulate. As of version 0.112 Mame emulates 3482 unique games (6465 if you include all the different versions of each game emulated [boot leged, set1, set2, etc etc]). With a dedicated MAME cabinet you can play most any game you can imagine and most of them VERY if not 100% accurate to the original.

Type in Rygar in the keyword search on the right, 5 Rygar rom sets emulated.

<---- Has an unfinished Mame cabinet that he keeps telling himself he will finish.

Someone should make a 4 player unit that can play Gauntlet :)

Any other 4 player arcade games?

I can't think of any at the moment.

Are you going to fab a MAME cabinet?

I would like to but I don't think I have the skills to do it.

Maybe the wood working skills but not the computer stuff.

Ninja Turtles and The Simpsons!
I used to love beating the hell out of bad guys with Marge's vacuum.
