Right now I am board out of my mind waiting for people to call and make reservations in a booked hotel. *yawn* Are you killing time at work too?

Currently waiting on hold to transfer a mis-directed customer back to their ISP.

"PPP Authentication Failed on WAN0" is most definitely a LAN problem, right?

I'm killing time until work. Have to go in at around 8pm and work until I'm done inserting ads into the newspapers.
 
hahaha gittyup, my day is basically the same, cept with a few less "codes" in there....

I also use other boards as well. Me and 2 buddies are trying to start up a community of our own, so if your bored, please feel free to post over there too (link in sig).

but ya, this is how I spend most of my day.... gawd I love these boards....
 
Tech Support here as well... damn board at the moment... auctions and this board keep me entertained though... ebay is fun for laughs as well, peace out.
 
Ah the life of the IT Professional....watching the clock, waiting on the phone, sitting in chair, mouse in hand...
 
I sit here at work, found a little program that counts down the time... I sit here and watch it count down all day long 🙁

Actually i believe this has already been proven false. Allowing a relaxing workday promotes employee happiness, which reduces employee turn-over. Turn-over is the real money waster, training new people in too often can really hurt the general productivity of a given business. The new employee and the trainer get very little real work done during this time, which the company must still pay for.

If you are refering to potential work wasted:
Potential work can be stored much like potential energy in-order to accomplish work at a later date. So right now i am storing potential work energy for a later date to be determined.
