How many of you actually have/use a keypad for your laptop?

I just ordered one. It also has 2 USB ports in it and it has a few keys at the top to connect to a browser, outlook, and a calculator. Im an accounting student, so considering I use Excel a lot, I figured it would be easier with this than the typical number keys on a laptop. And I really like the USB port feature.

Got a link?...that sounds like the mother of all USB keypads. 🙂

I just don't have to enter in a lot of numbers on my laptop, but if I did, I'd immediately get a keypad.

I love a number pad, I cant use the crappy numbers at the top.

Thats one of the reasons (or justification) I am considering buying a 17" laptop with the number pad built in.

My main computer used to be a laptop (and will be again shortly, I hope...). I always used the number keys at the top of the keypad... no real need for a keypad.

That said, I *did* have a keypad, and I always used it when I was working at any of the auctions that I help manage. It's just easier to enter long strings of numbers separated by nothing but carriage returns with the number pad...

Mother of all eypads

That makes the ones I've seen at Staples, CC, and Officemax look cheap.

I don't have a keypad, but if i'm using it at home I plug an IBM model M into it. The keyboard weighs more than the lappie 🙂
