What speeds have you got and how long have you been running it at that speed? Also any problems?

as long as you dont go hardcore on it ass, it probably wont die (hardcore meaning voltage mods and the like)

VisionTek GF4 Ti 4200 SE 128MB

Default: 250/444

Current speed: 300/600 No artifacts. No lockups. No crashes in games or benchmarks.

Been running this way for weeks. Prior to that I ran the card at 275/550 for 6 months to "break it in". No physical mods made to the card other than I added some ramsinks to the TSOPs. I used AS epoxy to attach them.

very important to say whether or not it's 128 or 64 MB. the 64MB versions have more potential in raw clock speed.

my MSI Ti4200 128MB runs 315/560 with zero issues, all the time... the slider is maxed out using coolbits.

You should be able to approach 300mhz core clock with any GF4, as they are all A3 revision cores (GF4 Ti4600 was A3, Ti4200 was released later and revealed its the same rev. core). But yah, as others said, the main factor controlling memory overclocking is simply the rated speed of the RAM modules on the card. I had an Albatron Ti4200 Turbo @ 310/650, could've possibly pushed it further but I set it and forget it.

Abit Siluro (64MB) 305/590

It might go higher, but I didn't want to break it...

Abit Siluro 4200ti 64mb OTES comes stock overclocked @ 275/555. I have had it around 300/590 NO problems but keep it at it's stock, overclocked speed. Will let u know what I get out of my recently RMA'd Gainward 4200. I had it up to 285/575, but it crapped out after a week or 2 (typical Gainward problems everyone else is having), so waiting for Gainward to ship me a new one.

I was running my Leadtek @ 320/640. Not artifacts errors or nothing. Just pure rock solid in performance. On day while running Starcraft... it just died. :(

As I said, I am running my GF4 4200 @ 300/600. I just touched my GPU cooler and ramsinks and they are both relatively cool, the GPU cooler is no warmer than the internal case temp. and the ramsinks are slightly warmer. Is this a good sign that the card doesn't mind the o/c (aside from the stable operation while being o/c'd)?

Is there any other method of testing a video card o/c besides just stressing it using a looping benchmark run of 3DMark2001 SE? What's a good way to really put the card to the test?

i have my Leadtek ti4200 128mb currently at 320/590, its been running there for a few months, seems fine. I get a few little sparkles here and there in Soldier of Fortune or 3dMark, but it runs great just the same

in [mobo] BIOS, does increasing the AGP voltage do anything to assist an overclock of the video card? I have mine at 1.7v, and i THINK it seems to help lessen artifacting, but does the video card power regulation system just chop off the excess power??

Gainward golden sample 128MB.. Had it for around 6 months now, running 310/550 the whole time. On a side note, i replaced the thermal goop stuff with AS3.

I have the MSI Ti4200 with 64 MB of BGA memory. I overclock it to 300 core and 600 Memory. No problems with it - great deal for $122.
