How many ml is a drop?

Is there a way to figure it out? It's going to be variable depending on something... altitude?

How about at sea level?

Depends on the surface tension, viscosity, and density of the liquid, I think.

For liquids of surface tension of water, this is correct. The obvious way to find out is to get a childs medication syringe, measure out 1 ml into a small container, then suck it up with the dropper.

Count the number of drops you squeeze back out.

Depends on what your're making the drops with.

Micro dripsets on IV tubing are about 60 per ml, standard dripsets are about 10 per ml.
