How many minutes do you use on your cell phone?

I get 450 Any Time minutes on my Cell, 5000 night and weekends and unlimited mobile to mobile. It's a pretty decent plan for $40 a month. But I really only use 150-200 of those Any Time minutes as most of my calls are to other cell phones (unlimited there). I then use about 100 of those night and weekend minutes. Now I am racking up rollover minutes, and I believe I will never ever use them.

I wonder if it would be cheaper to jump to a pay as you go plan....

Anyways, anyone else only use a fraction of their pre paid plan? Anyone go over? Do you want my rollover minutes?

We're talking about dumping our cell phones. My wife said that last month, I used 13 minutes...and we have a great plan...lots of anytime minutes, TONS of nights & weekend minutes, and about a bazillion rolled over minutes. I wish Cingular/AT&T would let me donate them to military folks...but Nooo...that might mean they'd get used!

I'm on prepaid and I use way less than 100 minutes a month. So it come to about ~$100 a year.

I probably rack up about £75+ on average per month.

Company phone so I don?t pay a penny towards the monthly bill.

1400 minutes, and tons of rollover. Wife and I pay about $75 per month for both our phones.

I use a company phone so it's free for me. I'm on a 450 minute business share plan and I use about 50 anytime minutes a month. Almost all of my time on the phone is in the evenings or to other Verizon customers.

I have 2 lines. Get 900 anytime, no roaming, unlimited night and weekend and mobile to mobile and 10 unlimited numbers. Gross about 3,500 minutes a month between me and my brother. We pay about $83 a month after taxes.

Prepaid here. I use 10-15 minutes a month. They charge something like 18 cents a minute, but I'm required to buy 15$ every 3 months to keep the phone active. The minutes never expire, though, so I'm building up a lot of extra time.

Usually ~500/mo, plan is 1350. I probably could drop it down but work pays for most of it so wth.

I pay for 500 minutes, usually use ~400 of them. I've used 494 so far this month, with one more week to go, so I think I'd better rerate to the 900 minute plan for a month :)

Guess i'm the odd one out... Use about 4,000 minutes a month. SERO 1250 min plan.. last month was 1100 min used... Fits my niche...

Hey thecoolnessrune, what plan is that from?? that sounds like a pretty sweet family plan-now that SERO stopped doin their family plan a while back.

I pay for 500 anytime, I use less than 100. But I use the free unlimited internet/data and the free unlimited text messaging like they are going out of style. All for $40 per month.

I think my head would assplode if I used more than 100 minutes a month. I hate the frigging telephone. My wife makes up the difference though - I think our family plan is 400 minutes per month.

450 minutes per month, about 3000 rollover saved up. I use about 80-150 per month usually. I'd love to find a 200 minute plan for about half what I pay now.

Seems like most of you in this thread don't even need a cell...LOL

Myself...I dropped the landline at home so its all cellphone here.

I have Cingy 2 lines/700 min. ~$100/mo. with texting and ins.

And we use em all. I have to keep a watch during the month to make sure where we are. Even with free mobile to mobile and free long distance, we talk alot to non-Cingy phones.

Still cheaper than the landline with long distance charges added on.

I text more than I talk. I wish I could convert to pay as you go. But, then I dont have the option of a data plan for my blackberry.

i pay for 200 any time any network mins, and 100 landline mins

but i rarely phone a landline, and the person i call the most (mobile to mobile) is one of my 3 magic numbers that orange allow you to have. magic numbers are great, they allow you to talk for 1 hour, but only charge you for 1 minute.

so effectively, if i just called that magic number all the time..... which i mostly do, i have 200 hours! lol

plus as part of a student deal, i get 1000 text messages which is way more than enough. however they charge 0.9p for a delivery report, though for my friend they dont charge her for them!

all this for supposedly £30 a month, or is it £35? cant remember!

i pay for 400 or so minutes a month but only use about 100 or so.

according to what i've looked at, pay as you go isn't much cheaper, if at all, for me and my calling habits
