How many messages do you wade through here?

To answer the question, too many. Most thread titles announce the fact that they are useless, like this one, but sometimes, because there are so few interesting ones, I click through ones with obscure titles in hopes of finding something. Sometimes, as in this case, I see a useless one that can be made useful with additional information:

Please use thread titles germain to the subject matter so that those who have defined tastes can save time by not wasting time being forced to discovering the true intent.

Idiotic, misleading topic titles are not needed if your topic is intrinsically worthwhile. Of course, if your main purpose is to annoy people or to increase your post count, a stupid topic title is no barrier.
