I figured he was wanting people to post in this thread if they were a subscriber, or he was compiling a list. I added the URL and a search word that would help his quest. Now if he is looking for an OFFICIAL number, I suppose only Anand and/or the subscriber staff could supply such info.

Good luck going down that route. I have sent 2 emails regarding a very simple question to the subscriber staff, never got a single response.:(

I've wondered this also. It could work in the forum's favor, if a lot of lurkers see that thousands of people have subscribed they might be compelled to subscribe also?

I think it's an awesome bargain considering how much time I spend here.

I dont really think they should tell.. why? Because then you would have all the sniveling whining wieners popping out thier calculators trying to figure out how much Anand is reaping from the subscribers with not a clue to the costs of the operations and saying he is some kind of wealthy rich dude ripping them off of thier lousy lunch money... sheesh.. leave it be..

they said they would contact me with said info once they come back from their month long Web retreat at Sandals Ochos Rios.

But if you ask me it's probably nickels and dimes. BTW why would they goto Jamaca for a web conference ???

While very true, it's absolutely ridiculous. If Anand is getting stinking rich off of the forum subscribers (which I'm sure he isn't), then more power to him!

He's created a marketable entity. Why people would have a problem with that (other than being selfish and self-centered hypocrites), is beyond me.

I'm spending too much time online. I saw that and immediately tried to decipher it from |337 to english. Took a minute and then dawned on me, oh, that's actually a number.
