but this time it was the topic..not you, that drew me in.

I have one...my social security card. Yep..comes in handy...um...NEVER...but I carry it around in my purse anyway.
 
oh yea...i was wondering. is it safe to write your social when applying for jobs?? I've always wondered about that whenever I fill out applications. I must've filled out like..maybe 10 today. Eesh..i better get a job if I'm going to be moving out by end of august.

Let's just say that if you lose your driver's license or get it stolen, someone else will own you.

Could own you. I suspect that in most cases it'd get tossed and you would never see it again or might find it witht he SS# and other cards - cash and credit.

I'd like to see more security for opening credit type accounts than a SS# and ID though.
