For me.... oh about 7 out of my usual 8 hours of work. Gotta love soaking in all that radiation :( :|

Haven't had reason to go in there yet today. Most days I don't to be honest. I walk by the server room ~10/day but I can usually VNC into any of the servers that I need to perform any tasks on.

About 3.

Setting up an old dual 733 server to use some new monitoring software on.

Thankfully not once today because naturally, being the server room, it's always freezing in there. I rarely have to spend much time in there anyway.

I'm in the Ops room, which is connected to the Server, which is connected to the hallway...

Gotta love the constant hum of the fans and the 5 A/C units.

Same as Jzero, here. Remote admin and KVM over IP. I can do most of my work from anywhere in the bank, so no need to freeze my ass off in the server room.

Last time I was in there was to replace a battery in a UPS 2 weeks ago.

none - i got out of networking and work at a custom motorcycle shop... so instead of radiation and heat... i have gas and exhaust to inhale :)

2 hours this morning at a clients' while I worked on a laptop (only free desk is in there) and popped in an old tape to restore some old calendar data tonight.

Those of you with KVM over IP can suck me :p

also, if you're setting up a server with about 10 CDs to pop in and out, you'd still need to go inside the server room. ours is set @ 60 degrees F, which sucks, because I didn't wear a jacket in there.

I'm hoping my boss will approve the leadsuit I asked for to combat all the EM radiation :D

was loud in there... and cold. I couldn't stand it for too long each time.
