How many hours of sleep do YOU need a day to function properly and how many do you get?

I need about 4, if I get less I get pretty crabby. This is on my work days, on my days off I get like 10, so maybe I make up for it or something.

Need 10+. Weekdays I get 8-10 on average. Weekends I can often sleep 10-12+ hours. And yes it really sucks. :(

To function right? 8-9

I have gone on 4-5 nights for weeks in a row, though, and did okay.

9 is optimal.

Once I get below 6, it starts getting bad.. lol

I average 3-5 that is my target.

If I get over 7 I am tired ALL day.

Too much sleep makes Scoobmaster a zombie :)

It seems to vary a lot for me. A cumulative deficit over a few days really sucks though.

I need 8+ right now because I have some type of sleeping disorder, but I haven't gotten over 6 consecutive in quite awhile. I went to bed at 1am last night and I woke up at 7:19 this morning. So I will post a few times on AT, take the dog out, put the trash on the street, put some stuff in the mailbox, and then lay back down until about 10 or so. I don't have class until 5:30pm thank god.

I need about 10 to feel completely rested. I usually get 8, and it's almost impossible for me to wake up in the morning.
