Wow that sucks. If I were you I'd start polishing up my resume.

Resume is pretty well polished considering that I took this job about 4 months ago and the one before this one 6 months before that (this one by choice, the one before because of plant closure). At this point, I'm not worried about it. Considering how many head hunters have called and the ease of which I've found the last two jobs, I have no concerns. Besides, if I get laid off, I can easily live on unemployment as I have no bills other than food, utilities and the likes (no mortgage, credit card, auto or other types of debt - paid off years ago).

I think things will be fine though as the company just received it's largest order ever (twice as big as the previous largest) and, once that cash starts flowing in, there should be a turnaround. When (if?) that happens, I sort of expect a day off with pay to make up for the many, many, many hours given (free) to the company so far. We'll see.
