How many hours a week do you play video games?

I'm just curious to see where most people stand. I play normally 6-10 hours a week. I'm trying to schedule my gaming time into my schedule. It's working fine. I will deviate from it a bit and play longer than I want, but I'm human so I don't get too upset with myself.

I game about 8 hours a week, about 4 hours on my day off, and another 2-3 hours at one hour a night after work, and the rest in about 15 minute increments mostly before work.

I go thru a never ending cycle with video games.

1) The urge to play video games is great.
2) I will start watching Twitch or a few You Tube videos on a certain game.
3) I will download Steam and the game I want to play.
4) If the game doesn't run on Win. 8 I will seek out the files that will enable me to play the game.
5) Play the game for a few hours.
6) I will start feeling guilty that i'm wasting my life away playing these stupid games.
7) Delete the game and Steam.
8) Feel happy that I've deleted the game.
9) Urge to game strikes again...

30hrs+ if there is something to play. I devour AAA games.

I can binge on some days for 18+ hours at a time. Add a few hours on other days and easily over 30. It does depend on what I have to play at the time.

I voted 6-10.

I try and get in a couple of hours a night, depending on the games. Some nights I get none, others maybe as much as four, but rarely ever more.

It's also highly seasonal and weather dependent as well. During the winter, with highs in the teens and snow everywhere, I'll generally stay in more and game.

As the weather gets nicer, I try and get out more.

Either way, I can never seem to play ANY game for more than about 1-2 hours now, tops, before needing a break.

I also said 6 - 10, but that's pure guessing. Hadn't played for several weeks, started back about an hour a night a couple nights a week on Counterstrike for a couple weeks, then seven hours last night.

Whole reason why I ended up selling my XBO and bought a AW 17" gaming laptop. My HT room is upstairs so gaming session meant confining myself to the darkened HT room (projector setup with 120" screen).

Lot more content with my gaming life now ...I game on my laptop for roughly 2hrs/night in the weekdays while wife is watching TV (all in the living room).

Been wrecking up some serious hours in CoD-AW .

I usually game for two hours 3 weekday nights out of the week. On weekends, usually another 6-8. So I put down 16-20 to account for the times I binge and do 10-12 hours on a weekend, which is usually once every 4-6 weeks.

tbh, i have no idea. i can easily pull a whole day playing, but then i'm working and maybe i dont play at all for a day.

this morning i got on the pc at 11am, played until 5pm on and off (more on than off), went to work, its now 5am, will get home at 8am, play for a couple hours, sleep, wake up around 5pm, go to work.

well... some weeks i barely play and some weeks i've got a full weekend at home

but i would say that right now (i moved to my girlfriends home and my gaming time got a hit) im in the 10-15 in a regular week and 16-20 in a calm week. It almost depends on what is on schedule in the weekend

The older I get, the less time I spend gaming and the more time I spend fixing shit.

Houses and cars are time-sinks.

Usually after a day at work I want to kill things. This seems like a good way to satisfy that urge.

I mostly get to play after the wife goes to sleep on week nights. Sometimes during the day on weekends. Try and keep it to when she's busy with other things so I don't make her resent the time I spend on them.
