skipping high school classes was never an option because 1) my mom works at the school and 2) If you didn't go to class the day of a game, you'd be ineligble for it.

I skipped a few classes back in the day, but they were rare and justified. I usually helped if the school's network died or help teachers figure out how to do things on their computers - like use a floppy disk. :disgust:
some years I skipped a decent amount of classes, and some years, I didn't skip much at all.
we only have 4 periods a day though (not including lunch) and sometimes instead of just skipping 1 period every week or whatever, i'd take the entire DAY off, less often.

when i was in HS we had 8 classes and 6 met every day and the others rotated in so we had each class 4 times a week, thing is each week wasent the same, it was a 8 day cycle, so if we sdtarted on a monday, the next thursday would have the same schedgual
They took attendance in HS, so I pretty much had to be in class if I didn't want detention. Now college, on the other hand...

When they don't teach you anything at school I see no point in going. I don't go half the time and manage to keep a 4.0 just fine...
I never felt the need to skip any classes in high school.

If I missed a class I would get detention/suspension in an instant. Where do you go when skipping class? Just sit in the bathroom or something?
It wasnt like college where the professors knew nothing about you. In highschool if you show up every teacher knows it and if you skip the teacher would know that too.

Sorry I missed the part where you said HS. I don't see how you can consistently skip 4 classes a day and not get expelled...
