Nobody would care if I had one at lunch, but I don't: alcohol blocks my analytical thinking and makes me want to sleep.
Occasionally I do it on Fridays when I'm in the mood.

I'm pretty sure that having a single beer with your lunch doesn't leave you with "beer on your breath" afterwards.

we used to have a keg in the office but the more we grew the more people got scared we'd get sued if someone drove home drunk. But I've had a beer a couple times during lunch, each time my boss was with me. I don't usually drink during lunch though, I'd get tired.

My uncle and marketing teacher were both accounts at Labatt Blue (seperate ones), and they got their own personal fridges filled with, well...you can assume.

I should hope they wouldnt care, its none of their business what you do on your time. Its completely different though since they arent employing you and you pay them.

Yeah sometimes, I'm an adult and I work in an office. What's the big deal unless you come back to work tanked.

I work in a federal government office and they regularly go and drink on lunch and oftentimes have beer in the fridge.

You're putting your colleagues in danger, increasing the risk of workplace accidents, probably doing a sloppy job, making more errors, etc.

I wouldn't, but I doubt anybody would care, if its just 1..probably frowned upon

Happy hours paid for by the suppliers FTW though!
