I would assume none but it doesn't really matter because I don't have 3 grand to drop on a tv.

You can get HD capable RPTV's in excess of 42" for under $900 now. 50" or larger for $1500.

I am about 17 miles north of all the stations here in Atlanta (Duluth) and I get them all.

I have the same tuner you have and have a Channel Master 3018 and the Phantom 2 amp mounted in my attic. It works great!

yep

i"m using the same hd tuner, and live in Los Angeles. I get about 13 channels. Also w/ the samsung tuner u can view ur digital channels on any regular crt tv. Just use the s-video or composite out, not as good as component or DVI, but you still get a significant increase in video quality.

Only 1: ABC

The local NBC and CBS both have digital channels, but neither offer HD yet. The local Fox hasn't even gone digital yet. Both PBS stations are not digital either.

I'm about 18 miles from our towers and I can get all the major networks using some indoor antennas. I have the Samsung T351 right now, but I'm going to try the new Motorolla receiver before I settle on a box.

I have no idea.

Probably won't get an HDTV until all broadcast channels and major cable channels are all broadcasting HDTV.

Then why not now?

You do realize all of the networks have HD programming, right? Well, FAUX is lagging behind but they're moving to HD by next year, I believe. Granted, not all shows are in HD but a large majority of the big 3's prime time is in HD. And then you have all of the movie channels (HBO, Showtime, Starz, Spice, Cinemax, The Movie Channel), Discovery HD, ESPN HD, In HD 1, In HD 2, HD Net, HD Net Movies, Bravo HD and I'm missing a couple of others.

Go for it, dude! :)

I was able to knock about $300 off an HDTV @ CC but it's still damn expensive for a nice Hitachi.

When I can buy a 57" for $1200 with 3 yr extended warranty out the door then I'll buy.

Oh, and, fwiw, here we have ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS (KET), UPN, FOX broadcasting digitally. However, FOX is only 480i (they don't even pass the 480p broadcast!) and UPN is only 480i, too.
