You need to add "I drive like a ricer" then everyone knows it means they drive with their left hands drapped (or wrapped) across the top of the wheel with their right shoulders lowered and their heads barely seeing above the steering wheel in the first place. It makes me laugh.

I drive with my left elbow on the door and my left hand on the wheel right in front of the turn signal. I suspect a lot of us drive like this. My right hand is used only for the radio or holding someone's hand. ;)

1...unless I'm going really, really fast through tight turns.

None if it's a totally straight road. Then I can lean back and hold it steady with my knees.

speed driving.. either both hands at 8&4 or at 8&5

casual driving... both hands at 6 or one hand at 12 or one hand at 12 and the other on the transmission

crazy driving... 9&3

with my gf... one hand at 6, my right hand holding my gfs hand

Bahaaaahaahaaha! Perfectly described!

As for me, two hands are good, unless I'm on the freeway for a long haul. Then it'll be one or less. :)

on local roads, left hand on wheel, right on shifter
on freeway, both hands on wheel
