how many grandparents do you have?

my friends always think it's weird that I only have 1 grandparent at 24, and she's a miserable old biddy

my maternal grandmother died a year after I was born, and my maternal and paternal grandfathers both died when I was around 9, leaving me with just my paternal grandmother who refuses to leave the frozen north. lol.

I've got my mother's mother's sister (great aunt, I guess) who's more of a grandmother to me than my dad's mom ever was, though

2. Grandma on my Mom's side passed 2 years ago. Gramps on my Dad's side passed about I want to say 8-10 years ago. Can't remember the year off the top of my head.

3 were dead before I was born. Last one died when I was maybe 8 or so and I don't remember him terribly well. Makes me sad sometimes.

i'm fortunate to have all four grandparents still alive and both couples married over 50 years.

my grandfather is suffering from lung cancer, though. it's a difficult time.

Birth-parents' parents all died before I met my birth parents.

My mom's dad died when I was 2, and her mom died when my firstborn was 2 (I was 29.) My dad's dad died when I was 7 (I sort of remember him) and his mom died when I was 19. I miss my grandmas, I was close to both of them.
