Will be heading down this fall, just wondering how many other Yellowjackets we have. I know Spac3d and GTaudiophile are/were, anyone else?

I went there my freshmen year. I transferred out and am happy for doing so. If you visited campus.... they took you on a tour of the dorm room on the east side of campus. I lived in that dorm. I can answer any quesions you have, just PM me.

I graduated BSEE in 2001. I hope you are absolutely sure this is where you wanna go! There are better options that don't rank so highly on US News & World Report if you ask me. I lived in Smith my freshman year. we had shower curtains the first day....but never again.

I graduated from Georgia Tech in August of 2000 with a BSEE. I lived on east campus my first year, then west campus the rest. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

BS in CompSci, graduated 2000 - I was on the 6 year plan!

It's not easy, but if you stick through it, it's a worthwhile experience. About half the people on my hall freshman year didn't make it back as sophomores. Ditto for me, about 5 times. heh. But you get a lot of respect for going there (especially from other Tech grads) and it's a good school. Builds character, as they say. Just don't plan on meeting a lot of women.

Also happy to answer any questions you've got. Good luck!

Just graduated from GT May 3rd. To kinda reiterate what's been said before: be SURE you want to be a hardcore engineer or computer programmer. Otherwise there are better choices. I'll be happy to answer any questions!

:Q What year did you live in Smith? You might have known my PA ... he was a 5 year senior who graduated last year and lived in Smith almost every year.
