How many games do you own but haven't beaten?

I would say 85% are unfinished. Some I bought a long time ago and never played. I have a few PS2 games still in the shrink wrap. They were on sale and I just never got around to playing them.

I finish almost everything I start, even if it starts to bore me half way through.

The last game I couldn't finish was Dragonshard, because of gameplay and also the frequent BSoD.

Same unfortunately.. I always see a game that I like and pick it up and never think about when I'll have time to actually play or finish it. I have finished many games before though on PC and consoles, but I have hundreds of games and there's just not enough time in the day to play all of them.

My roommate has a PS2, hardly ever plays much on PC, but he's had every RPG and many other games on PS2 that he's finished. He usually gets most of them as soon as they come out and then plays them for days on end until he finishes them. Some of these darn RPGs take over 60, 70, 80, or even 100 hours to complete.. heh I just don't have time to sleep let alone play and finish games that long.

most of the games i own i havent beaten.

ill play single player for a bit, then start playing random maps or multiplayer instead.

Far Cry: I beat most of the game but had to skip over the part where you fight Crow in the helicopter.

System Shock II: I always get stuck on the part where you're running up those giant fleshy steps.

Freespace: Never tried it.

Fur Fighters: Can't find the anti-air turret towards the end of the game.

Donkey Kong Country II: The slime-filling level is almost impossible.

Starcraft: Too hard.

Warcraft III: Stuck on the first Orc versus Night Elf level.

with games SO expensive, i make pretty sure i will like it . . . and then i finish it . . . even if i hate it - like Doom3. ;P

Back in the NES days: 99%. They were just too darn tough.
SNES: Probably about 50/50.

On the computer: Right now I have about 144 games in my posession. (EDIT: DAMN!)
I figure I've lost about 30 or so since I first started with DOS.

Of the current games I have only finished 72. (EDIT: Also DAMN. I thought it would be much lower.)

Keep in mind I only count certain games as finished. You cant really beat SimCity or most sports games. Gambling games and MMORPG's dont really have an ending either.

Those handful of DOS games I can remember had a much better percentage. I probably beat about 3/4 of those.
