How many eggs do 3.5 chickens lay in 3 days?

eggs = chickens * days * (eggs/chickens*days) constant

1.5 = 1.5 *1.5 * x

x= 2/3

Therefore:

eggs = 3.5 * 3 * 2/3

eggs = 7

i'm assuming that 3.5 chickens are 2.33 of 1.5 chickens, and laying 1.5 eggs in 1.5 days means that they can lay 1 egg in 1 day? so. . . . . in 3 days 1.5 chickens can lay 3 eggs, and 3 X 2.33 = 7??
