Definately resume material here. I was a cub/boy scout for a few years; did not advance any further.

Haha... I was just talking to a friend about being in the scouts. Both of us only made it to ... argh... first class? I can't quite remember. It was only like 2-3 ranks about the first one (or even less). But, we did remember about that rope thing up at Camp Parsons (is that the right name?) Man... to be a kid again. :)

I will be an eagle scout next year. I am star right now, and if i get off my ass and do work, I will have life. I should have had life last year, but last year was kinda stagnant for me...

Awarded mine in '77.

Really should renew that NESA membership someday.

What did you guys achieve in Order of the Arrow?

How many merit badges did you earn?

I earned Eagle in '95, when I was 15. I was in Troop 180 in Holden, Massachusetts. I was elected to OA too, but never advanced after initiation.

I got to 2nd class, and quit when I was 14 or so. I could have made it if I tried, but it was no longer worth it. I still love camping, and if that was all it was, then I'd be in, but its cluttered with too much other crap, I couldn't stand it any longer.

Oh yeah, and I had 52 merit badges. I even picked up "Bee Keeping", before they discontinued it.

I made it to Star and OA Brotherhood, Of course this was in the '60s From what I have seen of the scouts today my Star required more effort and knowledge then Eagle now.

Troop 4 Roseburg, Oregon. I had what may have been the best possible scouting experiance. Southern Oregon cannot be beat for camping possibilities, and we did a lot of camping.

Hey, does Homer come up to you guys and say: "Hey boy, how was jerk practice?"

My bro's friend is an eagle scout, pretty cool. Can kill a bear with his hands (J/k, I really don't know).
