Like...Should i do just SETI? Or alternate between SETI and RC5 (like on a day to day or week to week or whatever basis)?

I only have 1 machine available to work with...right now, a duron@863...will be a Tbird 1.2 (hopefully at 1.4) soon 🙂

Personally, I do what interests me. RC5 has a nice quick turn around time, and the easily predictable work unit lengths make things interesting for comparing different processors performance 🙂 If you prefer SETI, stay with SETI. If you want OGR, do OGR, etc. 🙂

It's a matter of personal preference. There's also no harm in trying others to see which you would prefer. Genome, Folding, RC5, OGR, SETI, Primes, you name it. But my recommendation would be to stick with what you prefer.

Personally I have been switching between the different projects. Recently I have been getting tired of rc5 and am about to hit my goal of 500,000 units so I switched 2 machines over to ECCp-109 just because its a smaller team and I feel like I can make a bigger contribution. And its a shorter project than rc5. I also ran folding@home, Seti, UD, and probably a couple others.
I say do whichever one you like best. If you want to move up in the rankings I suggest you stick with one projects after you find one that you like or one thats best suited for your cpu
