How many dimensions are there?

Everyone can cite the four classic demensions (the three spatial plus time). Now superstring theory states there are at least 10 dimensions, the latest fad is that 11 is the magic number, and still others hold there are many more (do a google search for branes if you want to get into the game).

You see that on the Science Channel? I think there is a limit on demensions, but we don't even know enough yet as to how many and I think we will never know. Its all based on "Theory" to have science pursue something for 40 years to find out that there is a flaw and then its back the the drawing board.. At this rate, we will never know..
