Depends on how you qualify "industry."

I spent about 30 years in the construction industry, but in several different kinds of construction...

Power plants including nuclear plants
Refinery construction and maintenance
Bridge building and maintenance
High-rise building construction
Residential construction
Rock, sand, and gravel production
Haz-Mat remediation and first responder
Off-shore construction including sewer outfalls
Crane and equipment operator for an electric utility
Natural gas and well-site construction
Steel mill construction
Highways and road construction

I've operated most every kind of heavy equipment available, driven semis, off-road haul trucks, and mechaniced on most of them as well.

Then, in recent years,

H&R Block tax preparer
Bookkeeper in a CPA firm.

In earlier years,

USMC rifleman
worked in a printing plant doing book binding
worked at Expo 74 doing grounds maintenance

I've also worked on loading docks, as a business agent for my union, and as a dispatcher for a crane rental firm.
