I have usb hub with being powered by 1 usb port. It has 2.5 7200rpm drive install on port 1, port 2 and 3 have flash drives attached.

Have I exceed the power draw?

Usb ports should be able to supply a minimum of 500mA. You could calculate the power draw from the devices. Check the drive for specs. Not sure how much flash drives draw but you can google that.

Probably. Most 2.5" drives I've seen come with two USB powers, one for power+data and another for power only.

Quite possibly. A 7200RPM 2.5" drive should gobble up the available 2.5W by itself. The flash drives are less certain, they can pull everything from 100mA to 500mA.

Is there any way to add external power to the hub? If its connected to a wall socket (by way of a 5V adaptor), you can usually pull 500mA from every port.
