How many delivery attempts does FedEx make?

I'm out of town on business and expect to be home tomorrow night. I was expecting a FedEx package but it was coming ground, and estimated time of delivery was Monday.

I must have caught a break because they attempted delivery today and - surprise! - didn't find anybody at home. If they try tomorrow, I won't be home until four hours later . . . will they try again on Monday?

Do you live in an apt?

If so, have someone put a note on your door to leave it at the leasing office.

My roommate & I have a sign that's permanently on our door.

We never miss packages.

If not, I believe FedEX does make three delivery attempts.

i leave a note on my door too, it works out well for fedex and ups boht, or just ask for a bunch of those consent forms, and sign em in advance and leave one at the door when your expecting something

Heck, my FedEx guy is lazy. He doesn't even come up to my apt. He just goes to leasing office and drops everything there.
