I'm older than most here but my answer is zero. I guess I've had some acquaintances who have perished but noone I would really call a friend.

I don't have facebook, but one of my clan mates died last year. Semper Fi Mike.

None right now. One of my Facebook friends died of cancer, but I defriended him when his family kept posting weird "in memoriam" stuff on his wall weeks after he died. Creeped me out!

Luckily for me, non of my friends have died. Family, not so lucky.

I was referring to Facebook, but I guess any active social site will do. I got one friend who died of cancer at a young age. Another friend was my kindergarten teacher who friended me a few weeks before she passed in her 70s.

ATOT is the most "social networking" of any site I visit...but once they're dead, they're no longer friends. How can it be any other way?

I have one friend that was murdered around a couple years ago still on my list.

Very nice guy, I used to pass out on his couch all the time after going out to bars with him and other buddies when I lived in Dallas. He died way too young. RIP Kyle
